Richard "Dick" Rudolph (born May 4, 1946) is an American composer, guitarist, musician, songwriter, and producer. He was married to singer-songwriter Minnie Riperton and co-wrote many of her songs including her hits "Lovin' You" (1974) and "Memory Lane" (1979). He produced Teena Marie's second album, ''Lady T''. He is the co-founder and co-owner (with Riperton's estate) of Dickiebird Music, and has worked as musical director for numerous films. He was also the co-founder of Third Stone Records, a short-lived imprint distributed by Atlantic Records, which he owned alongside actor Michael Douglas. He and Riperton had two children, son Marc, who works as a music engineer with Rudolph, and daughter Maya, a film and television actress, who was a cast member on ''Saturday Night Live''. ==References==
